God's Presence in Suffering
Thursday: God's Presence in Suffering
Reading: Psalm 23, Romans 8:35-39
Devotional: Like Joseph in prison, we may sometimes feel abandoned by God in our darkest moments. Yet the Bible repeatedly affirms that "the Lord was with Joseph" even in his unjust suffering. Today's readings remind us that God is with us in every valley, every storm, every prison of circumstance. His presence doesn't always change our situation immediately, but it changes us.
How have you experienced God's presence in difficult times? Take heart knowing that nothing can separate you from His love, and that He is working even in your suffering to bring about His good purposes.
