From Slavery to Freedom

Thursday: From Slavery to Freedom
Reading: Exodus 12:1-13; 1 Corinthians 5:7-8
Devotional: The Passover lamb in Exodus prefigures Christ, our perfect sacrifice. Just as the blood of the lamb protected the Israelites from judgment and led to their freedom from slavery, Christ's blood frees us from the bondage of sin and spares us from God's judgment. Paul explicitly connects these ideas, calling Christ our Passover lamb. Today, reflect on what it means to live in the freedom Christ has won for you.
Questions: Are there areas where you still feel enslaved to sin or fear? How can you more fully embrace the freedom Christ offers?
